Girton Feast Week

Village Fête: Saturday 8th July

Girton Village Fête will start at midday and run until 9pm, entry is free. There will be the usual mix of entertainment, food stalls, children's rides and games, beat the goalie competition and the beer tent selling local real ales.

Please note that because the Fête takes place on the Recreation Ground which is also used for sports matches and a children's play area, dogs are not permitted (except for official Guide dogs)

Family Fun Run- 1 mile.

First held last year and very popular - a run of 1 mile round the Recreation Greound, Ten Acre Field and St John's Field. Run as a family, or individually. Medals for all finishers and water station. This year there will also be a "Toddler Toddle"!

Entrance fee of £2 per person. Pay on the day, or in advance (Online booking opens shortly)

Food and Drink

There will be food and drink available, including the ever popular beer tent.

Stalls

Village charities and businesses will be encouraged to run stalls at the Fête.

Girton Garden Society Mini Show

A mini-show for Fruit and vegetables will be held during the Fête. More details to follow
